Icam offers three general engineering programs across six campuses in France and five internationally (Brazil, Cameroon, Congo, India, and the Democratic Republic of Congo). It encourages international study semesters, both on its own campuses and with its approximately fifty partner institutions across all continents. Icam's teaching is grounded in strong humanist values, aiming to develop open-minded, conscientious, engaged engineers who are active participants in their own lives.

Many doctoral students and research professors conduct their research on the Icam campuses. Each year, they produce scientific publications and collaborate with prestigious research laboratories in France and around the world. Closely aligned with the challenges faced by businesses, their research aims to develop innovative solutions in the fields of energy, the societal and technological transition of companies, and innovative structures and materials.
Icam researchers are specifically working on projects in the domains :
- of the production, storage and management of’energy ;
- of the structures And materials innovative; ;
- of the societal transition And technology companies.
All projects also share a common denominator integral ecology, In other words, a search for innovation that does not come at the expense of humanity and the environment. Progress aims to contribute to both technological and social advancements.
Icam is forging partnerships with laboratories and universities worldwide, for high-level collaborations on a variety of scientific projects. Researchers also readily collaborate on inter-site projects, between Icam campuses, in France and internationally.
Since its creation by industrialists from the North, Icam has maintained strong links with companies, notably through a network of “major partners”.
With its network of over 60 major partner companies, with a national or regional presence, Icam offers its preferred partners a range of activities that, for example, strengthen their employer brand among young engineers or provide companies with privileged access to engineering students or research professors. Each partnership agreement is unique and tailored to the expectations of both the partner company and Icam.
Icam offers companies, SMEs, mid-sized companies and large groups, a wide range of services and solutions in various areas of expertise (automation, electronics, energy, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, materials, mechanics):

Icam also offers, through its professional training division, tailor-made group or individual training courses to strengthen and enhance the skills of your employees.
For companies wishing to strengthen their teams, the business services division in conjunction with the Icam engineers' association (Icam Alumni) offers you the opportunity to distribute your internship, job or apprenticeship offers to students and graduates in order to recruit your future talents.
