The Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse incorporates an internal engineering school called UPSSITECH with three specializations: Civil Engineering, Telecom & Network and Robotics named Robotic and Interactive Systems (RIS).
The objective of the SRI training is to train and certify generalist engineers capable of designing, developing and integrating
software functionalities on autonomous robotic and/or interactive systems.
The programming of these systems is structured around the perception-decision-action triad: perception of humans and their
environment, decision-making, reasoning and machine learning, action planning
Movement and sensorimotor control of robots, multimodal interaction.
The training is based on targeted skills geared towards innovation (robotics, artificial intelligence) thanks to renowned Toulouse laboratories (LAAS-CNRS, IRIT, IRAP), project-based pedagogy to develop a sense of practicality, an international network to facilitate student mobility, an active industrial partnership of more than 27 years and excellent professional integration of graduates.
Course outline:
• 3-year engineering program (Bachelor's +3 – Master's +5)
